Racing Weight- The Book

I started reading this book last week to lose weight in a healthy way. It is very well written and easy to apply. Some of what I read is so technical that an age grouper like me really doesn’t have the time to figure it out. Racing Weight is very user friendly and is the best book in this category I have found.

Off Season

It’s off-season for me. It has been since Ironman Louisville and I have taken full advantage of it. Pizza, chocolate, hamburgers, Pop Tarts and more. I have done a little running, a little riding and no swimming. All this adds up to almost ten more pounds and at least one notch in my belt.

I start back training on Monday with my base phase for 8-10 weeks. It should be fun since the cold weather is just settling in for a while. At least I don’t live in Minnesota, don’t ya know.
